I have resized my logo - it is now the full width of the container and about 3x as tall as the original. I was able to adjust the main css file to accommodate this, but I have not been able to figure out where to do this for the cart & checkout pages. They currently are showing with the main cart/checkout page content sliding over the top of the logo.

I am using Light & Lucid, 3-column, with Fast Lane Checkout.

All versions of X-Cart are different - krutten - as per forum rules, suggest you update your signature with your version so people can help you and can be sure you need help with v4.4 as I presume. Trader, you've posted in the 4.4.x thread - but your signature says 4.3 - do you want to confirm what you are using.
v4.4 is very different to 4.3 - so the answers will be very different depending on what you are using.
