Hi All,

I'm looking to see if I can condense the current order status down from 8 to simply 3.

The three status I ideally would like to have are

Pending - This is where an order has been placed and no action has yet been taken
Processing - The order is/has been picked and packed
Shipped - The order has now shipped and is on it's way to the customer.

I have had a look in order_status.tpl and wonder can some of the other status simply be left out, or do they need to be combined (ie if status = Q, or A or P then = processing?)

any suggestions would be appreciated.

Edit: I have renamed the status that I want changed, using the language settings. Now just to remove the others

You will have to remove them from order_status.tpl but also you have to edit the logic in func.orders.php (what happens with each status) to account for this changes.

Many thanks for that. It looks like quite a bit of code needs to be changed, Time to do some research.
