Adding phone no in newsletter subscribe page

I want to add Additionally Phone no in newsletter subscribe page for 4.3.How to do that?

Do you need the user to enter their phone number on the subscribe page which is then entered into the database and is accessible in the emails sent out?
Maybe you just need your own phone # displayed on the page?

More specifics would be great.

The general premise is to add a new column in the MySQL database and edit some PHP files.

Which I don't know as of yet as I am busy currently.
Will need to wait a little longer.

If you want to try to find the files yourself, just get a program which can search directories and have it scan the root folder and the source/func folders for the current available entries.
