Default product images

I used xcart 4.2 in the past and when I clicked on add product image, a pop up box came up, asked me where the image was which was in a folder on my desktop, I clicked on image and it uploaded fine.

Now with 4.3, I click to add a product image and a pop up comes up and asks for the value, it never asks where the picture is. Have been trying to figure this out for weeks.

Please any help why this is doing this and why I can't add my own product or thumbnail images?

No one has Never had this problem?

I'm looking for someone who would like to make a little money by helping me set this cart up or helping to explain the steps, PM me. I read the manual so many times my head is spinning and some things aren't making any sense.

That's strange and to me is not right... What Browser are you using?
I have 4.3.0 with no issues with images, based on template Light And Lucid.

I know it's a pain, have you tried a fresh install, and see what happens?

Have you a screen grab of what it looks like?

I'm using Mozilla/5.0 with the latest updates for the firebug add on. I run 4.3 xcart gold but for some reason it shows as 4.2 here, in my info it shows 4.3.

I also get a 404 error when I try to look at the category products which I believe is a problem or something that the .htaccess file needs edited.

As mentioned earlier, when I click to add or change the default thumbnail, a pop up comes up and says "

change_thumbnail Value - it doesn't ask where the file is. Only to change the thumbnail value.

Doesn't anyone offer support other than sending questions to tech support, waiting and waiting only to find out I got to keep buying support points and learning nothing.

I want to learning how to use this thing such as a class or one on one, I would like to learn how to properly use this shopping cart since I have a dozen websites that need started and finished asap.

If an Upgrade, get hold of support, it sounds to me as though it's an upgrade bug. Which to me shouldn't happen, unless your cart is heavily modified, I really don't know. (And you shouldn't surely have to pay for a Maybe bug)
