Default featured products on all pages
Is there a way to include the featured products in the side bar on all the pages? It appears that you can only use featured items on pages without products

I kinda thought it could be done myself instead of purchasing a mod maybe changing the featured query......

How good are you with template editing? If you look at bestsellers you could probably hack up something similar for a "new" featured products.
