Our discounts do not work at all. We have been using our cart for about 5 months and now we need to use this option but it does not work at all.

We think the problem might be related to the fact that x-cart did some custom work on the cart when we first had it so customers did not have to register so ALL of our customers are anonymous. We have the discount set to 'all' but it still does not work!!!

Please not - we are not too technical!

Any ideas!

first thing to try would be to put the question to xcart if they made changes for you.

what sort of discounts are you talking about anyway ? discount coupons ?

We are talking about the normal 'discount' option on the admin page to give an absolute or percentage discount off the cart total.

My colleage asked x-cart about this earlier this week and they said they had so many projects they could not look at it for at least 3 weeks.

One thing has crossed our mind though in order to use the discount option mentioned above do we have to have the 'global discount' option enabled for every product.

Only wish they did a manual with this cart!!!!

Yes, it has to be enabled.

I wish people would read the forum FAQ and put their version numbers in their sig and use the search button, but it ain't gonna happen is it?
