![]() Hi all
I have searched to see if I can find anything about this, but didn't come across anything. Just wondering if anyone can help me with a problem i'm having with my new site. Quite a few customers have advised me that the text and images are being cut off on the right hand side of my website. My screen res. is 1680x1050, and it looks great, but it does seem to be that the lower the res. there is some text/images being cut off the page. This is happening on the home page and the product detail pages, however, when you look at a category page in a 3 column layout this seems to be fine? I'm new at this and coding etc, so not sure if there's some sort of auto adjustment that is happening/not happening for the pages. I have included some screen shots in a 1024x768 res. My url is: http://www.kubbyhousekids.co.nz it would be great if someone else could have a look in a different res and give me some insight/opinion as to why this is happening. Looking forward to you replies. ![]()

![]() You have a custom skin, and a custom stylesheet. You need to contact whoever supplied you with this and ask them how to fix the problem.

![]() It appears your sizing guide table combined with the css you have set for the main table are causing the issue.
Look at the css for the big table with id mainframe - it is always set to be 80% of your window. As the window gets smaller - elements which cannot wrap, like your sizing guide table, are going to get to big to fit in 80% of your window next to your product image. The effect will be different in different browsers. There are a few solutions - you may want to have your main table be a fixed width. You'll have to consider the width of the elements on your page - probably the sizing chart is the one you'll need to consider the most. If you want to keep the 80% main table - you will have to figure out how to restrict the width of your sizing table, or move it somewhere so it won't make your page so wide. (also note the width setting for your sizing chart).

![]() Hi
Thanks for your replies. I had thought about changing the sizing guide table so that it would fit on smaller screen res.,but I think this is only part of the problem. The featured products on the home page are being cut off in the third column, and also some of the welcome text. So I think I might have to look into changing the main table. However, it also could be the custom skin, so I have made enquiries about that too. Thanks

![]() If your designer didn't optimize the site for 1024x768 - make them do it. They should have tested the site in all resolutions/browsers and if they didn't, they owe you that.
