I am trying to move the credit card details fields from the final checkout page to the shipping and payment page, so it will appear below the payment options. To me this makes a lot more sense. A user selects credit card or purchase order and the appropriate fields appear just below the payment options. The user then fills them in and then clicks continue to review and complete the order. However I cannot figure out how to get those fields to appear below the payment options section.
Can anyone assist me? I have very little background with PHP but I know HTML, FLASH, JAVA, openscript and a few more. I also have a friend who is more versed with PHP than I am. She looked at what I need to do and suggested that I try this forum first, then she was going to help me look at any answers. If no one knows, could you tell me if this is something that the X-Cart tech support people would be able to answer for tech points or is this something that can't be done as it would disrupt the store check out procedures. Thanks.

Apparently this is much harder than it seems. I'll contact x-cart tech and they can assist. If I get an answer I'll post it.

Yes, quite a bit of work involved to modify the existing cart process.
