![]() 12 different categories of products
All have product price modifiers. Each category has different prices (but all the products in that category are the same price). I currently have a "random products" mod (that I got from these forums) displaying products on my front page. I want on my front page in the table of the random products, where the price is shown. To say "Priced from $X.xx" or just "From $X.xx" Now I know this will have to involve smarty tags to call upon that particular products lowest price. I'm sure it has to call upon the specific category, and then the lowest "price modifier" etc. Currently the price says "Enter your price !" That is because I have the product price at $0.00 and using the the product modifier for customers to choose their options & price. I have only done one product while I'm waiting to hear from Qualiteam about the bug that I found of no "update" button on the "exceptions" when trying to copy the checkboxed fields to additional products. You might have to refresh the page a few times to see an XBox 360 to see the "Enter your price !" Home Page Product Details When you go to the category page of xBox 360 they all say $13.95. - I want them to say "From $6.95" (and each different product will say their lowest price) Can someone help me with this? or if it is too much to do/instruct as a freebie, how much would something like this cost to have write for me? - (PM me) Doug

![]() After looking around I think I have found what to change, but I don't know what to change it to. Can someone of more intelligence help me out here?
When displaying the product price, according to products_t.tpl, it states: Code:
I'm guesing the value=$products[product].taxed_price is what needs to be changed to something like: Code:
In product options the price modifier id (orderby) number is 3, thats the lowest price I have set for my products. Thats what I want it to have displayed (called upon) in the products_t.tpl Does anyone know the "value=" for the product options price modifier orderby #3 would be? When viewing my main page keep refreshing till you see an Xbox 360, you will see it says $0.00. But if you go to the actual Xbox 360 category you will see they are now displayed as $13.95? That I don't understand, but anyways, that is actually the product option price modifier orderby #1. I want this to display as orderby #3 because its my lowest price. Yes I know I can change my orderby #'s but I do not want to because when a customer goes to the actual product. I want the Highest price to be the first price option like it is now. Thanks, Doug
