Default html minicart updating

hello

I would like to have the cart icon change to full in my static pages whenever someone adds a product.

I know a lot of people have asked this question and by design the HTML is their for seo only etc etc.

However, how hard would it be to update one small little jpg if there is an item in the php shopping cart.

Regards Adam

Hello Shan

On my store I had the setting in the admin set so after the customer adds an item, and if they select continue shopping they are sent back to the same spot they were, prior to hitting add to cart.

In my case they get sent back to the html page they were at prior to hitting add to cart.

I have read a post (I think it was yours) that said never set the redirect once they have got to the php side of the store, if this is still the best way to go then I will just set it up in admin so that is what happens.

Its just the html still seems a bit faster than php
Regards Adam

yeh i suppose html is faster but you loose the dynamic side of the cart there so ince info starts to get updated the html side does not show it and may cause confusion.

OK thats settled then, since I added the PHP compression the difference has not been that great anyway, so Im sure I can live with this.
Thanks
