Thanks I am a new user to X-cart and the template guide is is really useful. The installation of my X-cart was done by my hosting company and instead of installing the 3 column layout they have installed the 2 column layout. Can you please tell me if I can change the layout by editing the template. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to X-Cart! I'm moving this to its own thread as the guide isn't the place for questions.

The easiest way to go to three columns is to re-install the 'skin'. Just run the install.php script again (or ask your host to do it for you) and choose the 3 column instead of the 2 column.
