Default sub categories for manufacturers
is it possible in 4.1.3? or does anyone know any codes/mods that will work in 4.1.3? really need it.. thanks.

Don't believe it is possible by default in any version.

any mods out there? forum is kinda hard to search for stuff... I want to add sub categories for each manufacturer, I just think it'll be easier to find products that way.

You need to turn on Boolean Search...will help you search better:
