How to change Category and Product Title?

How do I change the font and/or color of the Category/Product Title?

The title on the page or the title under the sub-category/product on the category pages?

Balinor,

I think the title on the page. For example, the category name is XYZ. X-Cart's default design is the orange frame with XYZ in the header area. I would like to change this for all sections of the store (i.e. category pages, product detail pages, shopping cart, checkout pages, etc....). For example, make the text bigger and bolder.

That is the DialogTitle style in your skin1.css.

I see it. I get an error message, "File operation is failed", when I attempt to edit the file. For example, I want to change the font size. So, I tried to change it from 11px to any other number and it will give me that error message.

You need to make sure the file is writable. You can change the file permissions via your FTP client or your control panel. 666 will work.

O.Kay. I can edit it via FTP. I made the text bigger, but the header box does not extend full width. How do I edit that?

Header box? Do you mean the image behind the text? That is an image so you would need to edit it in Photoshop or an image editing software.

How can I remove the image behind the text and the orange frame? Dialog title in bold at the top. I think that would be easier than editing images.
