I have searched the forum for hours but can find no reference to the sort order of Products within a category.

When creating products one can set the position which I have done. but no matter how I do this The products always show in alphabetical order.

I know the customer can sort by what they wish but I want to set a default sort order. My products are in sizes each has its own SKU and different pricing. I.e Twin - Full - Queen and King sizes. alphabetically this is useless.
and just looks ridiculous.

does anyone know of a way of seeting a defaulkt sort order of my choosing.

I'd be most grateful for any assistance

Click on the category you want to sort in 'Categories'. Then click on the number of products shown next to the category name. Fill in the POS values accordingly.

My reply is :

I have done as suggested here but still have the same problem. However after looking at the example I noticed that one of the sort options was highlighted. This does not happen on my cart all are not highlighted. am I missing some code here?

Any help would be appreciated
