anyone really familiar with this code?

i encapsulated the entire home.tpl default table with another table.. put TD on the left side of the big table, and another td on the right side of the big table, making a border around the menu/content of the middle section. it looks perfect at the home webpage, but when ni click on something on the menu, the left TD looks normal but the right TD shifts all the way to the rigiht.. doesnt make much sense.. anyone experience this problem before?

home.tpl already has a wrapper, rectangle_top.tpl. May want to start there.

thanks for the speedy reply.. i've taken your advice and looked at rectangle_top and rectangle_bottom..

i've recreated what i once did in home by, ya know, putting a TD in the top and TD in the bottom.. it works, i have a thing bar of blue going up the entire left side of the screen an dthe right side....

but.. the same thing happens when i click on products.. the left thin bar remains, but somewhere in the switch rectangle bottom is being changed?

also.. where can the version # i'm running?

Edit profile, enter version, enter help desk password, click the 'Always attach my signature:' box, save.

not sure what your aiming to do but you seem to be heading backwards from the standard templates.

maybe worth refreshing the templates

not sure what you mean.. im only posting this link so someone can tell me why my wrapper cells on the left and right side of the entire page aren't uniform across all sections of the page (home/product browsing/etc)

what do you mean by "moving backwards" though?
