Duplicating Order Issue

Every other order number is missing. Looking at todays orders, I'm seeing the following in the X-Cart backend:

41000
41002
41004
41006

Then in the X-Payments backend, we are seeing this-

41001
41003
41005
41007

Has anyone else seen anything like this? X-payments is up to date per x-cart tech.
