You get this one figured out? A client of mine just called me with the same issue. Looks like the Qmail scanner is blocking it, not SpamAssassin.

Nope, acutally i forgot all about it, now just have a problem with SORBS as they have us listed as being on the same netblock as another website that got caught sending out spam. Talking to the host about getting that one sorted out. (bloody sorbs - pile of poo)

I've been getting the same thing, mostly from AOL (they seem to bounce everything.. without informing their customers!). Does anyone have any idea what the problem is?

We just tried turning off HTML e-mail, and that solved the problem. So...need to monkey with the html order receipt to see what the issue is. I'll post any solution I find.

AOL is notorious for bouncing them - you could try emailing postmaster@aol.com and ask them why they are bouncing them.

Unfortunatley turning off HTML emails is not good for us as we quite often send out content rich emails

Got it figured out. Check your site at www.dnsreport.com. if you get any reds AOL will reject your emails. Also they now require a posted SPF policy.

http://postmaster.info.aol.com/spf/

"AOL uses SPF for maintaining the whitelist.
AOL will begin using SPF records to maintain our whitelist in the near future. It is best for all organizations on AOL's whitelist to begin listing and maintaining (up to date) their SPF records so AOL can maintain accurate and up-to-date whitelisting of that domain's IP addresses. We will provide additional information in conjunction with our whitelist information pages.

SPF Facts!

* SPF is indicated by a TXT DNS record .
* SPF is a counterpart of the MX list.
* Because SPF protects the return-path, users protected by SPF will stop getting bounces for messages they did not send.

How do I setup SPF?
Publishing SPF is easy and requires no software upgrades on the part of the publisher. Using SPF to block spoofed emails requires fairly simple upgrades to inbound mail servers. Several major MTAs have SPF modules already. More can be found at http://www.openspf.org/downloads.html "

" In the mean time an exceptional SPF wizard can be found at http://www.openspf.org/wizard.html "

Looks like a nice solution actually. I get people spoofing my domain more often than I would like, and this will put a stop to some of it at least.
