When a returning customers comes back to the site they are greeted with there email address instead of their name is there anyway to change this, i looked at template -

/common_files/customer/main/welcome.tpl

and it states -

{if $display_greet_visitor_name}
<h1>{$lng.lbl_welcome_back|substitute:"name":$disp lay_greet_visitor_name} </h1>

So i thought it would greet them with their name but it doesn't

Just put in a bug request see if the guys there can advise as other versions greet the customers by name..
