I am running a stock 3 column artistic tunes skin and when I turn on the best sellers module along with show icons, it stacks all the best sellers in a single column on the left side of the box and leaves 3/4 of the box empty on the right side. Does anyone know how I can modify the template to show the list in 2 or 3 columns across instead? You can see it here: http://www.OCsurfwear.com

Anyone of the wizards have any suggestions? I am just starting to get into modifying .tpls but I am not sure if the best seller tpl is controlling this or should I be looking in the the stylesheets. I just need to get the best sellers to display in 2 or 3 columns when the icon config is checked instead of 1 long one.

Umm... when I went to your site the bestsellers are displayed in the left column menu, not the center. I modified my bestsellers to display thumbnails instead of text and have them in the left menu column. If I remember correctly by default they show in the main page, and I think use the same format as featured items, but I'm not sure about this.

My apologies and thanks for the reply, I turned the option off to show in the center with Icons but its back on again. I would appreciate it of you could have a look again. It's set for 8 right now but if I set it for like 20, the items just stack down the left side and leave all that empty real estate, looks terrible......

Well, I have my bestsellers so they display thumbnails (not little icons) in my left menu. It just has the thumbnail, and the price.

If you want them to display like featured products, you might be able to "steal" the routine from products_t.tpl and display them that way.

Like I said, it has been awhile since I looked at it the default way. Now I know why I changed it.
