Hi,
I need to add some new pages (html) - such as product help sheets, projects etc.
Should I create a new folder somewhere - at root level / within xcart or is there an existing folder that should be used? Does it really matter - I want to use these pages for linking back

Also - I have disabled the search box and would like to use the space for something else - a 'bookmark this site' is that possible?

Just use the Static pages option and then Embedded static pages.

There is no reason why you can't use the space for anything you want.
