changing main logo size in head.tpl - permission error

Default changing main logo size in head.tpl - permission error
i was changing the size of the main logo within head.tpl (a very easy thing to do) until i got this msg when i clicked save:

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /xcart/admin/file_edit.php on this server.

so i set the permissions to do everything but the problem remains.

this x-cart site is running version: 4.1.1

Bummer..can't help you with permissions then...but that is probably the problem

when i say windows i mean my computer is running XP but my database is on

Name: MySQL
Version: 5.0.19
Operating System: Linux

does that help at all?

Oh, yea I meant your server

You need to make sure your files are all permissioned to the same owner. Then make sure the templates are set to 666 and the folders are 755.

Do you know anything about the chown command? Do you have Shell access? May want to ask your host for assistance....
