Hi,

I tried to add an image to my Detailed Product Description using this code

[img]{$ImagesDir}/ruffwear/yellowBallistic.jpg[/img]

But it didn't work.

When I use

[img]http://www.qualidog.com/shop/skin1/images/ruffwear/blackBallistic.jpg[/img]

it works.

What am I doing wrong?

you cant use smarty tags in the description fields as xcart will not see them as code. I imagine instead it just printed the code. Youll have to add the link to the template and make it dynamic for it to work

How do you make the link dynamic? I'm not sure I understand what your saying, I'm having the same problem.

Put your product description in an html table and upload the table code to the Detailed Description box on product modify page.

Once inside the <table> </table> tags X-Cart will parse html in your detailed description version 3.4.x and higher.
