Hi,

I am wondering if it is possible to have text truncated so that it only shows an 'x' number of rows, rather than a defined number of characters.

The text is essentially the product description textm, where the text starts on one line and continues for 5,6,7... lines. I would like only three lines of each description shown regardless of how many characters are on each line.

If anyone can advise if this is possible it would be appreciated.

as far as i know this is not possible.

I took a look there and can only find details on how to truncate by characters. Perhaps there is another way to achieve what I want?
