[Outrider Labs]

My name is Ryan from Outrider Labs.

I'm very pleased to introduce a new add-on for X-Cart 5 called Announce.


What does Announce do?

Each time a customer places an order, a notification appears on your website showing the customer's first name and the product they purchased, along with a timestamp.

Announce also periodically displays notifications of previous orders received in the last x hours (you can set the look up time).


Social proof increases conversion rates by 10% on average

You may have already seen this functionality on many e-commerce sites and the reason for that is it's one of the easiest ways to bump up your conversion rates.

Displaying on-site notifications shows your store visitors that customers have confidence in you and are buying from you. Not only that, they will also feel like your products are trending! Ultimately it helps build trust, and gently encourages customers to have faith in you.


Easy to install and easily customizable

Announce is available as an add-on for X-Cart 5, so you can install it with just a click of a mouse.

Once you have installed it, you'll have to make an account on https://www.outriderlabs.com to get your "Announce Instance Code" which you can copy and paste into the module settings in your X-Cart admin.

You can also customize how the notifications will look from your Outrider Labs control panel eg:

• Size and shape of notifications
• Duration of notifications (how long they will appear on screen)
• Where they will appear on screen (we recommend bottom left)
• Choose the colors to match your site
• You can display the customers real name and location, or use a custom text

* Note: that you must have the REST API module enabled on your store for Announce to work. The REST API module is a free add-on made by X-Cart which you can install via 'My addons' in your X-Cart admin. You will need to paste your 'read only' key into your Outrider Labs control panel.

You can try Announce free for 14 days to see if it is right for you. If you cancel within 14 days you won't be charged anything.
