Skin not showing up in layouts page after 5.3 upgrade

Developer mode is on. The namespace of my module matches the path it's in. I've redeployed the store about five times in hopes that it would fix something, but the deleted module still showed up in the modules page and my new custom skin won't "apply" itself to the site.

I've decided to move back to 5.2. Thanks for your help.
