how do i remove the "new" tag on the product page?

Looks like it says 'Free' on your screenshot
In case you want to remove the 'New' label from a product, just change its arrival date to a year before.

unfortunately, that didn't work, razortw. i cleared my cache and history and still the same. i will continue working at it. but i would love more advice on how to handle this situation if you or any of the team can help me out. thanks so much.
also is there a way to remove the check that is next to that new tag?

the payment gateway has been established and terminals ready, ssl cert paid for and the last piece is to pay the invoice for the x-payment on wednesday to make the connection and we go live, yall.
