![]() That would be home.tpl in the skin your site uses. YOu may also need to place the code between {literal} tags
{literal}code{/literal}

![]() Are you also putting it inside <script> ... </script> tags within the {literal} tags?
Maybe providing just a little more detail would let us help you crack this. Can you quote the code snippet you're trying to use? Also, I'm assuming you realise that X-Cart's own Advanced Statistics module can provide quite a lot of detail about who's visiting your site. And if you have CPanel hosting, you may have the wonderful Awstats package installed. John

![]() Quote:
This module should never ever be used on a live site - it is a hog, it eats up resources, it grows database very fast and while it does have info it gives you very little compare to Google Analytics

Thanks for your guidance on this. I confess I no longer use that module myself for the very reasons you state. It doubled the size of my DB in 18 months. Nowadays my hosting at Krystal.co.uk gives me much more user-friendly output. However, the Advanced Statistics module _is_ there already in X-Cart and has the advantage for people not used to programming that it doesn't have to be coded. In fairness to X-Cart, it's pretty easy to save Advanced Statistics data output to CSV & clean it down from a menu item (Tools >> Maintenance >> Clear Statistics) every 2 or 3 months, so it doesn't necessarily have to overload the DB.
