I would like to see if it is possible to have this format in the sidebar displayed when viewing products or categories.

Category Name (direct link to category)
- Product Name (direct link to product)
- Product Name (direct link to product)
- Product Name (direct link to product)

Category Name (direct link to category)

- Product Name (direct link to product)
- Product Name (direct link to product)

Basically I would like to make it dynamic so that the products would only list if you are in the selected category. The benefit would be that when someone is looking at a product in that category, they can select from a list quickly in the sidebar to go directly to another product in that category.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It can be done but not without custom coding it - products list for a category does not exists on product details pages so this has to be custom coded in php, products list pages you can do by changing the templates only
