![]() Hello Great Forum
1. Am I correct that the Orders department email address also gets the You have reached the low quantity E-mail? (yes/no) 2. If I have 200 in stock and my low quantity is 100 does the Orders department email address get a low quantity e-mail if a user orders 50? (yes/no) I hope not. 3. If I have 200 in stock and my low quantity is 100 does the Orders department email address get a low quantity e-mail if a user orders 150? (yes/no) 4. What I would like is if the inventory goes below the low quantity have it got to a completely different e-mail address then the orders department. 5. We have a separate department for inventory and I only want the inventory department to get an e-mail if the quantity goes below the low inventory level. What do you think is something that can be done and is easy to do?

![]() The email goes to the "provider" of the product, the email address of the user that added the product to the database, and yes, if you set 100 as the low limit you will get an email every time someone makes a purchase once the amount available goes below 100.

![]() Hello
Thank you for the reply. I thought that is how it worked and of course you have an option to send it to the orders department. When checked the orders department did get notification that the stock went down My problem is that the provider (me) with a different e-mail address is not getting to me. I am not sure that it is even sending to the provider. How do I make sure X-cart is sending to the provider.

![]() The provider is the admin account. Make sure there is a valid email address for that "user".

![]() Hello
Yep, I do have the provider correct and I do have a working e-mail with the provider. The provider e-mail is not being sent. I also tried this on a second store using the same version different e-mails and still the provider is not getting notification of low stock quantity. Very strange

![]() Hello Great Forum
I contacted the support fourm and there is a bug in the software. He gave me an update. However, the update did not work and he should be back in to work on this on Monday. It was not me this time. I actually did know what I was doing. Support Gave me the wrong update for Pro instead of Gold His fixed worked perfectly I loaded up a new store with 4.4.3 the same thing happens and the provider does not get the e-mail. I do not know yet it the fix is the same for 4.4.3 as it was for 4.4.2. I will keep you posted.
