Hi, I am trying to edit my product_thumbnail.tpl file, but it's so confusing to me.

I want this in esssence:

{if $mode eq "search"}
display thumbnail image only without link
{else}
display thumbnail image that links to product
{/if}

Any ideas on how to do that?

Here's my current code:
