Hi,
Has anyone any idea of how to display the content of a static page into welcome.tpl? The idea is that my client will be able to edit it through the admin in static pages.

I know that this is content management but as this is the only key page on the site where the client needs to edit content (and through the wysiwyg editor) I thought this might be a good way, although I've no real idea as to how to do it.

If anyone knows or can suggest some alternative (apart from installing a full CMS module), I'd be very grateful and interested.

could just edit the welcome text language variable via the admin section and use the wysiwyg that way.

That's brilliant. My clients usually want a good deal of front end customisation that they can edit and that opens up a new world for client updating in many areas of a shop.

Or, create a new static page, call the file welcome.html

Then in skin1/customer/main/welcome.tpl
