Every time a new branch of X-Cart comes out, I basically strip it down and re-code the templates. The tables were bad, it is nice that they got rid of those, but they just don't understand how to write clean CSS yet. There are about 10x more templates than there should be, and about 10x more <div> tags, not to mention the bloated CSS. CSS is clearly the way to go, but over-stuffing it defeats the purpose.
