I am trying to re-size the header of the choromo template. I have re-sized the images.. but there is a blank row between the header and the content section (circled in the attached screen shot).
Any idea how to get rid of this blank section and shift the content area up... also shift the search bar up.

Adjust in css margins and/or paddings for header and center container

i tried to modify them.... but no change in the layout.
in head.tpl there are some classes which I cannot find in main.css
eg... "header-chromo", "head-bg", "head-bg" ...
any idea in which CSS file they are?

There might be another css file for this theme. Also make sure you modify the correct head.tpl - skin1/customer/head.tpl
