![]() I'm pretty familiar with editing version 4.1.11 and I have quite a few little mods written for it. Is there that much difference between 4.1.11 and the 4.2 versions as far as template editing goes?
Also, is the 4.2.1 stable or are many of you still waiting a little while before making the switch.

![]() It is different but not that much. The main difference is that in 4.2 templates (most of them not all) are separated between admin and front end.
I use 4.2.1 I have no complains. Of course just like any software there are bugs or glitches. I think 4.2.1 is pretty stable

![]() Well, and the fact that 4.1.11 is table-based and 4.2 is css. If you don't know CSS, it will be a BIG learning curve.

![]() You might want to go back and look at some of the posts Balinor has written about upgrading. The general concensus is don't do it unless there are features in 4.2 that you NEED. Most of us will be waiting on version 5. We have put up a test version of 4.2 to playaround with getting our design and MODs to work in it. We have no intention of switching unless version 5 falls apart.
