Images............ again!

Guys.. I am just trying to install a fresh version 3.4.7 and I am a little confused..

I'm trying to set xcart to read images from File and not Database. In admin "image location" it's set to read from file. Images are loaded set to read from "xcart/files" directory with the directory permission set to 777, but the images does not show. Where am I going wrong? Is that sometime I'm missing out on here?

Help..!!

It is most likely the address you are using. It took me a few times to figure mine out to realize what I had to put. Mine looks like this
(/home/virtual/site7/fst/var/www/html/store/siteimages/thumbs/) i am not sure why it wasnt designed to just know to go from your root folder but as said I had to use the path listed above insted of the short (/store/siteimages/thumbs/). Anyway hope you get it.

to get an idea of the path you need to enter look at the bottom of the summary page

Thank you guys.

After spending a whole day from one file toanother, I realised that it was becasue of the htaccess in the files derectory. I deleted the file and it all works well. I have to say, I'm a little confused as my older installment, version 3.4.2 works perfect although it too has htaccess in the file derectory.

Thank you once again. Now time for another cup of nice Assam tea and sortout Worldpay to work with 3.4.7

In Admin section (right-hand menu) of the X-cart.

i run version 3.3.3, and i don't have that option on the right hand side...

It's only in the 3.4 branch.
