I am trying to see if there is a way to customize the order status section and the way I search for orders.

Right now there are options in there that say:
Not Finished
Queued
Backordered
Declined
Failed
Complete

First, I'd like to add a couple options, such as Cancelled and Partially Shipped.

Second, I'd like to make the search box for searching orders where you can choose what status to search by to a multiple option box, so I can search for more than 1 type of order status at a time.

Any idea on how I can do this?

Hi JR,

Do a search in the forum for this "order status" - about 6 months ago there was a great thread on this.... explaining exactly step by step exactlt how to add in new order statuses etc.

Seperately, I also made a post on what exactly happens to stock when orders status changes (i.e. no change in stock, return to stock etc. when go from one order status to another) which might be useful to help understand how X-Cart does this and ensure you choose the stock change you want to match the order status you impliment... from memory was under payment section... (posted a jpg).

If you can not find - let me know and I will search for you (.5am here - so heading off to sleep)

In regards to selecting multiple order statuses at the same time / once - you could adapt this post to work for V4.1.X (note code in V4.0.XX chain is a little different - so will need changing) - see http://forum.x-cart.com/showthread.php?t=14911&highlight=select+multiple+o rder+status

Otherwise perhaps take a look at the code for how this is done for selecting multiple categories for a product on the admin products page (you should be able to adapt that I would have thought).
