Removing Spaces Under/In Head

I have a space beneath my head line that I would like to eliminate. I have used Webmaster Mode and it shows me that the space is within head.tpl but when I take out rows, nothing changes except that some rows take out the "printable version" on the cart page. Here is my code:

Thank you very much! One more quick question: The right menu is flush to the head line but the left menu still has a space (much smaller than before). I thought that location.tpl was in the way but I don't think that's the problem now. Any ideas?

Show your site?
In the standard themes of "X-Cart", I do not see this problem.

PS. Or make a screenshot and put "HTML-text" problematic pages.

Hello,

My URL is www.kookoomonkey.com (it's not too pretty but I am a newbie!!) You can see that there is still a small space between the left menu and the header. How do I get rid of that?

Problems with tags <br />.
Edit files skin1/customer/home.tpl.
Delete tags "<br />" after lines:
