Default arranging/renaming menus question

Hi there,

I've got a few questions I'm hoping to get help with.

1. I'd like to re-name the "help" menu to just "Menu"
2. I'd like to move "menu" above the "categories" menu
3. How/where do you make the font larger for the menu items/categories?

Thank you very much.

Hi Kanadian, can you please post your X-Cart version in your signature? Will be much easier to direct you if we know exactly what you are using. Thanks!

Great, can you add that to your signature as well? Thanks

You can control the titles of things either by Webmaster Mode or in your Languages area.

You can move menus around in customer/home.tpl

The fonts and styles are controlled in your master stylesheet, skin1.css

Thanks.

Can't seem to rename "help" to "Menu" in webmaster mode. Clicking 'Help' in WM opens the help contents. I also can't seem to find a home.tpl in the 'customer' folder on my server. Only home.php where menus cannot be moved.

You can also edit it in your 'Langauges' area. It is a label.

ok, got that out of the way, thank you!

I'm looking in skin1.css...which font size do i change specifically if I want to change the body text (the area where it says: "This is a demo store powered by X-Cart. Based ") and the size of the text for the menus....they're both really small.

Also, there is no 'home.tpl' in the 'customer' folder to move menus.

If you open up the templates that contain the text you want to change, you'll see which styles are associated with each.

skin1/customer/home.tpl

There is a template editing guide at the top of this forum that will really help you

Also, if you could please take a moment to update your signature as requested I would appreciate it. Thanks
