I know you can add extra fields to a product? Can those be hidden from customers? So for example if I have a field "currency X only" I can have a condition in template where
if currency X only
don't show other currency.
else show both
etc.

Any ideas? This can be used to configure many interesting ways to twik product displays.

Yes, just uncheck the 'display' box next to the extra field
