Default generating HTML page at the root
Hi,

My X-CART store is installed in www.komtac.com/shop

But what do I do if I want to create a STATIC PAGE at www.komtac.com/

THE VERY FIRST ROOT, not X-CART root...is it possible ?

Well, that would be outside of the X-Cart structure so you would need to write that page in an html editor outside of X-Cart.
