Help Please!

I've downloaded the dreamweaver plug-in and installed it, but I don't know what I have to do with the .php file.
I have set up a local testing server, which is working correctly. I can't however get the live view to work within dreamweaver. It's giving me a live data error, which I put down to this file being missing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I forget to say the version I'm experimenting with is X-Cart Gold 4.1.5

I'm using dreamweaver MX 2004.

My testing server is WAMP5
