![]() Greetings all,
I have several products which may require the customer to contact us before ordering. What I would like to do is to link to the main cart contact form, which is easy enough, but I need to be able to automatically fill in the subject field depending on which page the customer links from. In other words, when the customer clicks on an "Ask Question" link on the Product X page, the form would be displayed with "Question About Product X" already in the subject field. From looking at the help/contactus.tpl it seems that the variable set in the subject field is {$userinfo.subject}, but I have been unable to set this separately or discover how to pass this information to the form in any way. I have followed several threads regarding the registration of variables, but I have not been able to make any of those ideas work. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Gary

![]() Good question.
I would like to make a "brochure request" using something like this. Hope someone comes up with an idea. Steve
