I need to remove these or move them. Where is this data located?

customer/home.tpl. Just comment out the includes.

Do you happen to know how can I include the .tpl files in a normal .php file... I need to incorporate your cart data into our left-side menu

Afraid you can't do that. The cart and templates will only work within X-Cart.
