[MAPerformance]

I would very much like to change the header in my cart, which is located at:

www.maperformance.com/store/home.php

to my header on my home page at:

www.maperformance.com

only without the lines.

Is there an easy way to do this, keeping in mind i know very little about web design?

Hello,

To edit your xcart header portion, you'll be looking in /skin1/head.tpl
Look for something similar to this line near top:

<TD>[img]{$ImagesDir}/xlogo.gif[/img]</TD>

Upload the image being used for your header on other page to your /skin1/images/ directory and change the image name in the sample above.

I have since figured out how to put my logo in there, but on my main page I have several images/buttons along with the logo. I guess I was wondering if I had the HTML for the header on my home page could I paste it into that directory?

Ultimately I would like the image, buttons, and hyper links to go with the header image into the cart. I would also like to remove the scan lines from the header image...

You can't just cut and paste, no. You would need to re-create your layout in the head template, as there are smarty tags and other functions in the head template which you would need to code correctly.

So looks like my newbie self is going to have to pay for it lol. Does anyone on here do web design? Is $150 a good price to have my header placed into the cart?
