The store is almost ready to go, but strange things have been happening over the past 24 hours:

1) some pages (e.g., weddings) don't format correctly - a white stripe appears down the righthand side of the page between the image and the outside border if you size the page above a certain width. This only happens on certain product categories, but not all...

2) the background bar on the product headings (center column) was changed in color - the new gif was loading correctly yesterday but not any more... i've cleared caches, rebooted machine, and even checked on other computers...

3) the product ID is back in the product descriptions - i've removed the code for that per the good suggestions on other pages in this forum, and reviewed the code to make sure that it was still modified. The ID was gone for the past few days but has now reappeared...

Perhaps this is all due to problems with the site host here in Australia, and if so, that's a pain, but I'll have to deal with that. Can someone let me know what might be going on? Any thoughts appreciated.

Try clearing out your templates_c directory and then reload the site.

Not sure i understand - i opened that directory via ftp and it's full of a bunch of strangely named files (e.g., %25%25FF%5eFFE%5eFFE60CAA%25%25poweredby.tpl.php)

Should I just delete everything in that folder and then revisit the site?

Or when you say, "reload the site" do you mean actually re-upload my entire website to the server? (I hope not!)

this emptys the templates cache and when you view the site again its recreated

Ok - that took care of one problem - the background bar is now the right color (problem #2 on my original list). But the white space on the far right is still there (only on certain subpages such as "weddings"), and the product code is still appearing even though i removed it from the code per the instructions in this forum...?
