Our wishlist button suddenly stopped working. I checked all of the original code compared to what we changed and everything seems to be in place. It is checked in the modules section but doesnt seem to work. Could it be java script?

Any thoughts?

Hey Padraic,

The wishlist button is available but wont click or add items to customer wishlists. I believe I checked everything that could be a culprit.

Are you getting javascript errors when you click it? Check the top right of Firefox (the green check and read circle if an error) and the bottom left in IE.

There are no errors and it does nothing but highlight the wishlist button when you click it. It's almost like there is no link there.

If you are talking about the flyclothing.com site, you do indeed have some javascript errors relating to ajax AND a ton of validation errors. I'd start by cleaning those up and see if that fixes the problem.

I guess my browser is not showing them (Firefox), but I see what you mean in Explorer. I remember now the rating system was causing errors but both (wishlist) worked together before.

How would I go about cleaning up the java and validation errors?

The javascript error is indeed related to the ajax rating - try disabling the rating module temporarily and see if the wishlist works again.

Tried disabling ratings and reviews and didnt see a change. The button just highlights and doesnt click. I do think the java is conflicting but there are so many possibilities!

May want to hire someone or open a ticket with Qualiteam to dive in there and straighten some of the errors out.
