I see many references here about changing the look of a site in a custom manor. I used x-cart installation service to install my version of x-cart anfd they installed the default skin type. Is there a way to switch between the other x-cart original skin (I should have rewuested the green and yellow, not the orange)? If not is there a location to find the other original gif files so that I can go in and change them manually?

Go to your personal files area. You will find an Alpha Manual. It will explain the layout of the cart, what each section is called, etc. It will also tell you the names of the different gifs and where they are in the layout of the cart.

You have different colored heading gifs in your images file of your cart. Simply replace the current ones with the ones in the color you prefer. This is all explained in the manual.

When ever you are editing skins, it is always Best to make a copy first, in case you get results that you did not expect.

If you run the install file again yuoll be given the choice of either reinstalling the whole cart or just installing a new skin. You should be able to choose the skin you want from there without changinf anything else

in the Administration Menu click on EDIT TEMPLATES
