How to increase Image Verification Length of string from at most 6 to 18, pls?

Image Verification module has been compromised long time ago. It doesn't provide any real protection. Use Google reCaptcha module instead.

BTW do you really think anyone will bother to type in 18 characters just to register or contact the site... I find this ridiculous

As Steve stated, no one is going to type in 18 characters for an image, especially, when they'd have a greater chance to make a mistake on one character and have to start all over, and have a great chance to enter another bad character.
