Onsale install problems (4.2)
Hello,
I have already opened a ticket with Bill at alteredcart, but i thought maybe i could find some help here as well. (we are in a hurry to launch our newly designed x-cart site before the holidays) The last thing we are trying to configure is Onsale. We need this to specify what types of shipping will be discounted for our free shipping promos. This mod looked good and had a bunch of other options we figured we could implement in the future. I have installed the mod according to the provided instructions. (which were very thorough) Everything seems ok until i try to launch the onsale_sql.php file from the web browser. I have checked the permissions as Bill suggested and tried moving the file around thinking i had it in the wrong directory. I still get a 404 page. I have even tried launching the file from within my ftp client. Is there any settings in the backend of my site that would block my access to this file? I find this strange because cleanup.php works fine. Thanks in advance, Keith

Re: Onsale install problems (4.2) SOLVED
PROBLEM SOLVED:
i had the onsale_sql.php file's permissions set to 777. Basically, everything checked. I then checked cleanup.php's permissions and used those for the onsale file and everything worked fine.
