How/where is this piece of text. I have tried look at footers but nothing stands out at me. Help.

Hi redback

Try in admin/languages "select language", "apply filter text", then select topic to search.

That is the {$lng.eml_signature} variable. You can remove the actual variable from the template (/mail/html/signature.tpl) or simply change the language variable itself.
